Essence of Family Day in My Teenage Life

Family Day is the day of the year when our family is brought together in our school for one big culminating activity here in ACT. Every year it would be different, like the theme which was tribal this year,  color of our booth and shirts, and obviously the grade level because this year is my last grade in junior high.

The day started off as always when its family day, it starts off at 1 p.m. with a mass to kick it off the afternoon. Then we had a Sinulog festival dance with all the grade levels with our props which were candles. After that we managed to settle down with ourselves in the booths and my other family members manage to came along as well and joined in separate booths with the others. We then had few selfie with each other like this one we had.

After that, came with different tribal dances from different grade levels, ours was about two rival tribes finding a way to find peace between each other. During it I felt pretty useless because of the fact that I didn't anything except holding their stuff and watch from start to finish which was pretty entertaining to watch. After the entertaining dances from the other grades, it was finally time for dinner. Each one of us picked a place to settle down and eat comfortably. Don't mind the face I was making...

After the dinner my family needs to quickly go home a bit early so that we could feed our dogs. Sadly I would never know what happens after so I ask what happen to my classmates so here's what they said. They said there was a raffle draw which I forgot there was one a minute ago which happen that there was bet between my classmates and our science teacher which we won by winning the raffle, and the final was the awardings as to the best tribal dance which to my surprise was my batch, the grade 10, for 4 straight years my batch was winning the dances as one hell of an achievement. as for the experience, it was a good time to remember for the last few months of grade 10.
